Every keepsake begins with a memory...

Hi Emma, Every memorial keepsake begins in exactly the same way. Not with silver. Not with engraving. Not even with jewellery. It begins with a memory. A photograph tucked away in a drawer. A picture saved on a phone. A handwritten birthday card. A fingerprint that means the world. Or a message from someone you never want to forget. When those memories arrive in my inbox, I know I'm not simply receiving an order. I'm being trusted with something irreplaceable. That trust is something I'll never take for granted.
Before I engrave anything, I carefully prepare every image by hand. Sometimes I enhance faded photographs. Sometimes I remove distracting backgrounds. Sometimes I simply spend time making sure every tiny detail is just right. Because I know this isn't just another necklace or bracelet. It's your mum's smile. Your grandad's face. Your dog's cheeky expression. Someone you love deserves every bit of care I can give. Once everything is ready, I begin engraving. Watching a treasured photograph slowly appear on the metal never stops feeling special. Even after creating hundreds of keepsakes, I still find myself smiling when the final image is revealed.
Every piece is then checked carefully before being polished by hand. I look over every detail to make sure it's something I'd be proud to give to my own family. Only then is it ready to be packaged.
One of my favourite moments is wrapping each keepsake. I always imagine the moment it arrives. The careful opening of the box. The first glimpse of the jewellery. The smile. The tears. Sometimes both at the same time. Knowing that something I've made might bring even a tiny bit of comfort is why I love what I do. Thank you for trusting me with your memories. It truly means more than you'll ever know. With love, Emz x
