What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and other tools that store or access information on your device.

They can help a website remember your basket, recognise your preferences, keep services secure and understand how visitors use it.

Cookies and related identifiers may involve personal information, such as device identifiers, IP addresses and browsing activity. They are not necessarily anonymous.

Types of technology used

The technologies present depend on the features you use and the services enabled on our website.

Essential

These support functions such as the shopping basket, checkout, security, account access and remembering privacy choices.

Technologies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you request do not require cookie consent.

Preferences and functionality

These remember choices or support features such as language settings and embedded content.

Whether consent is needed depends on their purpose and how they operate. We request consent where required.

Analytics

These help us understand website activity, identify problems and improve the shopping experience.

Analytics information may include pages visited, interactions, device details and how visitors reached the website.

Where consent is required, analytics technologies should only operate after consent. Any reliance on a statutory exception must meet its conditions, including applicable information and objection requirements.

Marketing and advertising

These can help measure campaigns, understand interactions with marketing and show relevant advertising.

Advertising and non-exempt marketing tracking require consent before being used. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from purchasing.

Third-party services

Our store uses Shopify. Other services, such as Klaviyo, analytics tools, advertising platforms, review widgets and video providers, may use cookies or similar technologies when enabled.

Third parties may receive information when their content or tracking loads. Their privacy notices explain their own processing.

Not every service is active on every page. The cookie information provided through our consent controls should identify the technologies actually used, their purposes, providers and durations.

Your choices

You can accept, reject or customise optional technologies through our website’s cookie controls.

Simply browsing the website, closing a banner or reading this policy does not constitute consent to optional tracking.

You can change or withdraw consent through the cookie controls. Withdrawal applies to future use and does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Rejecting optional cookies should leave essential shopping functions available. Some optional content or personalisation may be unavailable.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies through their privacy settings.

Blocking all cookies, including essential ones, may prevent functions such as the basket or checkout from working correctly.

Deleting cookies may remove your saved preferences, so you may be asked to choose again. Choices may also need to be set separately on different browsers and devices.

Browser settings do not necessarily control all pixels, local storage or other tracking technologies.

How long cookies last

Session cookies normally expire when your browsing session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry or until deleted.

Durations vary by provider and purpose. Refer to the cookie information available through our consent controls for the technologies currently used.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our website or services change. The date above shows when it was last updated.
