Your image is assessed and prepared for the small charm, with attention to the faces and details that matter. The finished result depends on the detail available in the original photograph.

If your favourite picture is older, faded or imperfect, send it for a free photo check before ordering. We will advise on its suitability and help you choose between images if needed.

One charm, two treasured photographs

Your chosen photograph is engraved onto the front. You can also select a second photograph for the reverse, bringing two memories together on one charm.

Choosing a photograph for your charm

For this small circle charm, one person generally gives the clearest result.

A maximum of two people can be included when their faces are very close together. Choose an image where both faces sit at a similar height.

For the best starting point:

• Upload the original, highest-quality photograph available.
• Choose an image with clear facial details.
• Avoid strong shadows across faces.
• Keep the subject simple rather than choosing a busy group photograph.

Phone photographs, screenshots and photographs of printed pictures may also be suitable. If an imperfect photograph is the only one you have, send it for checking before ruling it out.
