Our handprint or footprint earrings turn your supplied handprint or footprint into a pair of small engraved keepsakes. The surgical steel design lets you carry a personal reminder in a subtle piece of jewellery.

Upload a clear photograph or scan of the handprint or footprint you would like engraved. We prepare your supplied print to suit the engraving area. Send faint or older prints for a free check before ordering.

A different image on each earring is available for an additional £5.

How do I take care of my jewellery?

Clean your jewellery using one of our cleaning cloths.

Remove before swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping.

Apply perfume, lotions and hairspray before putting on your jewellery.

Store separately in a dry pouch or jewellery box. An airtight bag can help reduce silver tarnishing.

Treat chains and clasps gently and avoid pulling or bending them.

Avoid wearing bracelets and bracelet charms at your office job - the charms can rub against the desk whilst typing and scratch the metal.

Do you have a warranty?

Yes! For 12 months from the date of purchase, we’ll take care of your product if any damage to the material occurs. Simply contact us and we’ll arrange a return and replacement.

Please note: This warranty does not cover lost items, scratches that come with normal wear and tear, improper use or storage of your product, and any modification to your product done by a third party.

Do you create custom pieces?

Yes absolutely! Infact many of our regular bestsellers were originally created as custom pieces for our customers. Please contact us and we will be happy to look into this for you.

Can you engrave an adult’s handprint or footprint?

Yes. These keepsakes can feature a child’s or an adult’s handprint or footprint. We use the print you supply and resize it to suit the engraving area.

What handprint or footprint image should I supply?

Send a clear photograph, scan or digital image of the existing print. The fingers or toes and the outline should be easy to distinguish from the background. You do not need to send the original paper; email an unclear print for checking before ordering.

Can you check my image before I order?

Yes. Email your image to info@gemzbyemz.co.uk for a free suitability check before ordering. You are welcome to send more than one image if you would like help choosing.

What size are the earrings?

The earrings are made from surgical steel and each measures approximately 12mm × 12mm. The engraving area is small, so a clear, simple image or short handwriting works best.

Can each of the earrings have a different image?

Yes. A different image can be engraved on each. Select that personalisation option and make clear which image belongs on each item; check any additional cost before ordering.

How long will my personalised item take?

Our usual turnaround for engraved items is 3 working days before dispatch, followed by delivery. If you need your item for a wedding, birthday or another specific date, please email info@gemzbyemz.co.uk before ordering to check availability.
