Our gold heart photo necklace turns your treasured photograph into a personal keepsake you can wear. Your image is engraved directly onto a 20mm gold-coloured surgical steel heart, paired with a matching adjustable chain.

Choose it as a memorial necklace, a thoughtful personalised gift or a reminder of a beloved pet. Its meaning comes from the photograph you choose.

Every necklace includes a free gift box, free UK delivery and a one-year warranty.

Your photograph, prepared with care

Gemz by Emz has been creating personalised jewellery since 2011. Founder Emma combines engraving experience with her background in professional photography and photo editing to prepare each image individually.

Your photograph is checked and prepared before engraving, with attention to the faces and details that matter. Distracting backgrounds can be removed where appropriate to help the main subject stand out.

An older photograph may be the one you treasure most. If yours is faded, damaged or lower quality, send it for a free photo check before ordering. We will advise on what is possible from the detail available.

Personalise both sides

Your chosen photograph is engraved onto the front of the heart pendant. You can also personalise the reverse with:

  • A name
  • A meaningful date
  • A short message
  • A second photograph

A second photograph on the reverse costs £9 extra. Select your preferred options above; any additional charges are displayed before you order.

Short messages work particularly well on the 20mm pendant, keeping the lettering easier to read.

How do I take care of my jewellery?

Clean your jewellery using one of our cleaning cloths.

Remove before swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping.

Apply perfume, lotions and hairspray before putting on your jewellery.

Store separately in a dry pouch or jewellery box. An airtight bag can help reduce silver tarnishing.

Treat chains and clasps gently and avoid pulling or bending them.

Avoid wearing bracelets and bracelet charms at your office job - the charms can rub against the desk whilst typing and scratch the metal.

Do you have a warranty?

Yes! For 12 months from the date of purchase, we’ll take care of your product if any damage to the material occurs. Simply contact us and we’ll arrange a return and replacement.

Please note: This warranty does not cover lost items, scratches that come with normal wear and tear, improper use or storage of your product, and any modification to your product done by a third party.

Do you create custom pieces?

Yes absolutely! Infact many of our regular bestsellers were originally created as custom pieces for our customers. Please contact us and we will be happy to look into this for you.

Yes. Choose the reverse text option and enter your wording. A name, date or short message works well on the small pendant.

It may be suitable, depending on how much detail remains. Emma can assess whether editing will help prepare it for engraving. Please send it for checking before ordering.

Can you remove the background?

Where appropriate, distracting background details can be removed during image preparation to draw attention to the main subject.

Can you engrave my pet’s photograph?

Yes. A clear photograph of your pet can become a personal keepsake or pet memorial necklace.

Is the necklace solid gold?

The pendant and chain are gold-coloured surgical steel, rather than solid gold.

Can I order matching necklaces for family members?

Yes. You can use the same photograph for multiple necklaces, creating keepsakes of a shared memory.

How quickly will it be ready?

Your necklace is made and dispatched within 1–3 working days, with delivery time additional.
